CRAFTSMAN Café
– A Blend of Good Taste and Tastes
“Excellent
coffee, espresso and baked delights all served up with a cup of design
inspiration.” is what Anne and Richard DeWolf, Co-Owners of Arciform
LLC, are hoping their latest venture the Craftsman Café, will
provide to residents in the Overlook area as well as potential clients.
Located at the
intersection of North Interstate Avenue and North Skidmore Street
the Craftsman Café, situated in the Arciform Building, is a
study in offering more than just your typical latté or scone.
The café is a combination showroom for this local design/remodel
/restore business and a coffee shop serving the community and eventually
riders along the Interstate Light Rail Line.
Its interior,
designed by Anne, is a classic interpretation of a 1920’s bungalow
kitchen complete with custom crafted paint grade and alder/walnut
cabinetry made right in the adjacent Arciform shop. Clean white subway
tiles adorn the backsplash and hand blown, hand painted period lighting
provided by Schoolhouse Electric illuminates the space painted in
a soft shade of yellow. A great deal of thought and effort has gone
into creating this airy 400 square foot space where guests can experience
“tasteful” design and “home-made” craftsmanship.
Open 7 days a
week, ( 6:30am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday and 8am to 1200 pm
Saturday and Sunday) the Craftsman Café offers premium Kobos
Coffees and Espresso as well as teas, juices, and a wide variety of
baked goods and soup.
