Jennifer
and Don Campbell, owners of Life in Colour, Inc., will be conducting
a hands-on workshop on the basics of faux finishes. They have been
in business since 1995 and have created many subtle and sometimes
dramatic faux finishes throughout the Portland and Vancouver area.
Jennifer and Don have displayed their art at Street of Dreams, Street
of New Beginnings, and Vancouver Parade of Homes.
Each
one-day workshop is held at Matthews Main Street Paints, 12568 SW
Main Street in Tigard. Classes are limited to 10 people and require

The Basic
Faux Finishing Workshop teaches the proper techniques on how to prepare
and create beautiful faux finishes. All of the necessary tools for
the one-day workshop are provided. Just bring your imagination and
prepare to step into the world of creating faux finishes. Each student
creates 3 samples of finishes to take home (colorwashing, sponging,
and ragging) and works as a team on a classroom wall.
